The truth that people must be led to believe is that there is no such thing as the true church. Only God is perfect and if the church is composed of humans who are sinners, then that church is not perfect at all. However, this doesn't mean that there is no need to look for the right church that is suitable for us. In our search for a new church to belong to, here are some things to consider.

1. Find a church that teaches God's word. It can be observed today that many churches provide nice sermons that can really uplift us. However, it is vital to find a church that refers to the Bible for the scriptural readings if you really want to grow in faith. Always look for the congregation, like the Charismatic churches in Lexington KY; that constantly seeks God's word, takes the principles from the Bible, and are challenged to put them into action.

2. Look for a church where you are welcome and you feel very comfortable, like the Charismatic churches in Lexington KY. There are some churches where members of the congregation greet you as soon as you walk through the door, and they welcome you with their eager faces, and are happy to get to know you. There are also churches where people don't want to get near you as if you have a communicable illness. If you feel you are welcome in a place, it will be easy to develop relationships with other members of the church.

3. When in search of a church, bear in mind to find one with a clear and defined vision and mission. You will readily know this when the church, like the Charismatic churches in Lexington KY; has a purpose and you feel part of it. Their purpose are unified and actively practiced, and this is what makes them appealing to anyone, even the non believers.

4. Look for a church that you can serve and become involved actively. This is a place where you can use your talents like teaching bible studies, cooking meals, mowing the lawn, and other church activities. If you are talented in certain area, then you can offer your services when opportunities come your way.

5. Hunt for the church that makes community service and evangelism their priority. Most churches neglect their communities hence you need to find one that plans and implements activities of reaching out to their community.

You cannot really look for the perfect church but you can find the congregation where you can be developed spiritually. It is vital that one should be actively involved in a good church where you feel you belong.
