For some, living alongside Aspergers Syndrome is a real struggle; never having the ability to understand completely jokes or understand human feelings. The power to get sad or possibly angry when certain life circumstances present themselves is a part of being a human being. By expressing and feeling sentiments we are somehow able to address life's tragedy (and joys) a touch more in our stride.

When one can't express themselves on an emotional level it is tough not only for the person wrestling with Aspergers Syndrome but also their family or intimate partners. The ability to express love is just as important as the ability to express discomfort. But when one is not able it causes trouble on all sides. One might argue that it is something you get used to being around but do you ever truly get used if you're in a close love relationship with someone who has this disorder and cannot actually express their love to you.

The film, "My name is Khan", gives an engaging comprehension of the life of somebody with Aspergers. .It shows a person living in the shade of the 9 11 bombings and fighting with social difficulties. Many times he's proven to be socially clumsy wrestling with a mixture of private and formal relationships.

He had been disturbed since a young age when his mother died and always struggled throughout the motion picture to cope with death or the concept of people dying. Just the mention of someone dying spins Khan into an injury. He struggles with basic things such as being able to tell his better half that he likes her or understand the concept of a joke. Many times he is also shown to have difficulty to deal with body contact like shaking hands. There's also one scene on his wedding night where he fights to become intimate with his wife.

As well as illustrating the negative parts, "My Name is Khan" also demonstrates the gift of genius that it can also bring. In the movie he often demonstrated his fantastic capacity to mend damaged mechanical and electronic clobber.

I believe the movie is a good portrayal of folks living with Aspergers as it illustrates both the highlights and lowlights of the disorder. One thing is very clear though is that for Khan, just understanding that he has Aspergers is sufficient to make life marginally less complicated for him. After taking an Aspergers Syndrome Test, he was able to explain his status brazenly to others as such dispelling any misconception folk might have about his bizarre peculiarities.

Towards the middle and end of the flick it is clear that thru enjoying more close connections with folk and being open with his status with his state does improve. He may not fully understand the complexities of social dynamics but he begins to develop an awareness of them.
