They play fine all throughout the day so they are full charged each morning. When you take the headphones off, you must press the ON button on the base unit, and then press the power button on the headphones before they will work.

I would have preferred to have a nice manufacturer booklet. The packaging was so secure that it took me some time to actually get into the box.

So, I decided to keep it as is! It works pretty much as advertised. Also the RS180's fit on her head better than the RS120s which were always loose (and would fall off when she looked down quickly). In my opinion The RS180s are worth the extra $. I bought and returned two other pairs of wireless headphones in the sub-$200 price range before springing for these, and simply put they are worth the extra money. There's no interference, the sound quality is excellent throughout the range and the hiss that plagues most other wireless headphones doesn't exist. Very pleased with the RS180 and well worth the additional cost. These headphones are great.

But, again, the range is generally fine for my purposes. Fourth, the headphones are really comfortable, and in my opinion, the headphones and base look handsome and cool.

I bought it as a birthday present for my husband. It came nicely packaged. This is simply not true, and I don't know why he told me this. This is not a negative about the 180's since maybe nobody is looking for this feature except me, but it is a severe mis-statement of fact by a Sennheiser representative.

In my discussion with the Sennheiser rep, I pointed out this reviewer's comment about this and the rep said to just turn down the TV. After I said that wasn't an option, he then stated that the 180's won't behave any different than the 130's.

You have to be careful placing the headphones on the cradle, to insure the contacts engage for charging. However, there's an amber LED that lights while the headphone set is charging, so it's obvious when contact has been made. With the 130's, which I have used for years, this does not exist. If I'm wearing the 130's and the TV is on, I only hear the sound from the 130's. I purchased these wireless headphones for quiet listening late at night so I would not disturb other people. I have used the wired Sennheiser HD 414 headphones for the last 20+ years and have had zero problems with them.
